The 1st Mini-Marathon of Afghanistan 2019

Frontline Children is the title sponsor of the 1st Mini-Marathon of Afghanistan’. The 1km race will be organised for Afghan school children, both boys and girls, who live in a valley region, some 240 kilometres west from Kabul.

We hope this will show children, how physical education and sport, can bring together peoples from different religious, tribal and ethnic groups in one of the most fragile country’s in the world.

At home in the UK; we hope you and many school children of a similar age will join

in, match the challenge of the children in Afghanistan, perhaps complete multiple 1km

races and by doing so, support us by fundraising for Frontline Children.

Race Date. For security reasons we are not allowed to publish the exact location or

date of the 1st Mini-Marathon. However, it will take place sometime in October 2019.
