On the last morning of a trip in July 2019 to SIERRA LEONE, Jordan Wylie, Ambassador and Roly Rickcord CEO visited children survivors of the EBOLA crisis in a heavily populated sector of FREETOWN. Meeting many children living in very challenging conditions, and a very special little girl called Jennah, who had been through terrible trauma losing her parents, grand-parents and sister to the disease before being abandoned, we witnessed first-hand the importance of, and their hunger for, education. The school building of two small rooms is in desperate need of repair and rebuild. Our visit was kindly hosted by a team from the charity “Wharf Kids” and Frontline Children have pledged to provide educational support to 10 of their children over the next 12 months, and we will return to help further in 2020.
But, we can only do so with your ongoing support and first we must complete the build of our new school project in Djibouti. With your ongoing help we will then turn our attention to the build of this hugely important little school in FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE. Please DONATE today. Thank you from us all at Frontline Children
